This video for 3BM Education Partner, shot and edited in three and a half days for the Bett Awards 2015, was created to show the quality and breadth of their support to schools
Filmed as a silent, “home movie” for the production of Le Nozze di Figaro at the Åbo Svenska Theatre in Turku, Finland, Happier Days was created to reflect the early days of love and joy remembered by Countess Almaviva while singing the aria, “Dove Sono”
The production was set in the 1930’s in Hollywood and the video directed by John Ramster starred Kevin Greenlaw as Count Almaviva and Marjukka Tepponen as Countess Almaviva.
This video trailer created with the Young Shakespeare Company shows the impact and audience involvement that makes the “in-school” productions so popular and exciting whilst keeping to Shakespeare’s text.
